Lead based paint was used over almost the entire United States for decades, finally being outlawed in 1979. However, Approximately 20-30% of homes nowadays are from the 60's and 70's that could possibly still have lead based paint present. The damage from lead poisoning is irreversible and detrimental to young children especially. Let us come and take a small sample from an area and we can tell you within minutes if lead is present. The EPA also mandates that if 6 sq. ft. or more is disturbed within a residence whose construction was before 1979 lead based testing and abatement protocol is required by federal and state law.
